Following on from a recent spate of attempted/successful burglaries/housebreaking attempts in the village, the PC learned that a villager has now had their locked shed forced open and expensive equipment stolen.
The PC urges villagers to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior as well as taken precautions to secure their properties including outbuildings.

The Hungarton Annual Parish Meeting will be held in the Village Hall on Thursday 16th May 2019, starting at 7.00pm.
The format will follow that of previous meetings and one of the key issues will be to consider the item of whether a flagpole should be displayed in the village on a public space.

The following is a message from the Dog's Trust;
We run dog training classes for all dogs, not just Dogs Trust dogs, and cater for puppies, adolescents, adult and rescue dogs. The Parish Council is very pleased to confirm that Rob Morrison has been appointed as Parish Councillor with effect from 17th January 2019.
